Canberra Heat AVSL Squad

Volleyball ACT is inviting all interested players to attend an open trial for the Canberra Heat Men’s and women’s squads.

When are the trials?

The open trials for both the Men’s and Women’s squads will be held on the following dates:

• Thursday 27th June 7pm- 8:30pm (Men Only)
• Tuesday 2nd July 7pm - 8:30pm
• Thursday 4th July 7pm - 8:30pm

At the Australian Institute of Sport Volleyball Courts and are open to any athlete over 16 years of age.

If I am unable to attend the trials, what should I do?

if you are unable to attend either of the trials but would still like to be considered for the Canberra Heat squad for 2024, please submit the Expression of Interest form and email VACT (athletes@volleyballact.com.au).

If I am selected for the Canberra Heat squad, what is the commitment?

The Australian Volleyball Super League will run from August - October 2024.

• Round 1: 31st August (Away)
• Round 2: 7th September (Away)
• Round 3: 14th September (Home)
• Round 4: BYE
• Round 5: 29th September (Away)
• Round 6: 5th October (Home)

Cost

It is free to trial; the cost for those selected is TBC.
