Open League is Volleyball ACT's major open competition and provides players with competitive and social volleyball experience. Open League is for everyone whether you are with a club, a work team, a school or just a bunch of friends!
Open League consists of multiple divisions in Men's, Women's and Youth.

All divisions are played at the Lyneham Hockey Centre and Harrison School with matches commencing from 5:30pm on Monday, 4:30pm Tuesday and 5:30pm Thursday nights.
All players will need to register with Volleyball ACT for the year and once team fees are paid you are ready to play.
Match Time Limits
All round matches are best of five sets, to a time limit of one hour (including 10 minute warm-up period). Finals matches will also be played best of three/five sets depending on the division, but with no time limit, or as directed by the draw.
Team Fees
The 2024 Spring Season team fees are based on 12 weeks:
- Men's, Women's & Youth Leagues = $1180 per team
- School Team Rate = $980 per team (Must be approved by the school to participate in a VACT Competition)
- Youth Competition = $980 (Must compete in the Youth Division)
- Recreational League = $980
- Teams not fully paid by week 3 will not be permitted to play until payment is made
Player Registration
All players must be registered with Volleyball ACT before their first match. Registration is on an individual basis and is separate to the team's competition fees. Any team found to have played an unregistered player will forfeit the match.

You can play Open League by joining one of our clubs, entering a team with a group of friends or if you are an individual please contact the VACT office and we will link you up with a team.
