VACT welcomes new Athlete & Competition Co-ordinator

Volleyball ACT is pleased to announce a new addition to our staff with Erica Allen coming on board this week in the position of Athlete & Competition Co-Ordinator. Originally from Dublin in Ireland, Erica moved to Australia as a teenager and grew up playing volleyball in Queensland where she progressed to local and even international honors representing Ireland for Indoor Volleyball.

With a background in Sport Science, currently studying my Masters in Sport Psychology, and majoring in Sport Coaching, Erica will bring a detailed eye to our athlete and coach support programs.  You will also see Erica at events and competitions,  supervising the courts or managing the venue.

You may even be lucky to run into Erica on the road doing some Triathlon training, but good luck keeping up as Erica also represents Ireland at the European Triathlon Championships in Germany this year. Either way, I am sure you will all join us in welcoming Erica to the Volleyball ACT community.
