Lyneham Beach Facility

The Lyneham Beach Facility project was completed in November 2015. The project was led and generously supported by the ACT Government in partnership with Volleyball ACT who own and operate the facility.

As the only facility of its type in the Canberra region, the Lyneham Beach Facility is the home to all Beach and Sand sport.

A truly world class venue for the enjoyment of the Canberra community. Since its opening the facility has been host to beach volleyball, soccer, handball, netball, athletics, boot camp, touch football and rugby union.

The facility is now available for hire by the public, community and corporate groups.

As a flexible facility it has the capacity to host a variety of sports on single or multi courts and events for children to Christmas parties and much more.

The facility is a multi sport venue and can be adjusted to host small or large events.
