Canberra Heat: Continuing the Legacy into a New Era
History
Since 2002, Canberra Heat has proudly represented the ACT at the national level of volleyball through various formats, including home & away, tournament, and grand prix style competitions. As we gear up for the 2nd Edition of the Australian Volleyball Super League, let’s take a moment to reflect on the illustrious history and achievements of Canberra Heat.
Club Overview
Canberra Heat Volleyball Club is the longest-serving club in the Australian Volleyball League, fielding both Men’s and Women’s teams. Players are selected from Volleyball ACT affiliated clubs, school competitions, and junior representative programs.
International Participation
The Heat Men have showcased their talent on the international stage, participating in the Asian Club Championships three times:
2023 – 12th in Bahrain
2018 – 9th in Myanmar
2017 – 10th in Vietnam
